Hello my dear friends!

It was raining a lot lately so I wasn't out that much. Not a bad thing though, because I had a lot of time for revamping artphilia.de and obidala.net. <3

The new skin I made for obidala.net is not up for download. At least not yet. It's called 'Times New Romance'. ;) I thought it would be time for a more romantic skin with soft colours, but I really liked the header graphic and kept it. It's the only header graphic I've ever kept.^^

And this is how my artfolio looks right now. Featuring Uhura/Kirk. <3 Always loved this shooting.^^ I think it's the sixth layout I've done for artphilia.de.

Other than that I've been writing a lot. Star Trek fanfics mostly. I guess it was a good thing re-watching DS9. :D Currently I'm re-watching VOY (up to season 2 so far) but I gotta tell you, that there are loads of episodes I really dislike. AND I hate Neelix. He is such an annoying character. :/ But I can't wait to re-watch all the Tom/B'Elanna episodes. <3

And last but not least I've created another new efiction skin I want to share. Hope you like it.

... it's Sunday. A) I'm currently downloading the new Merlin ep and can't wait to see it. B) My boys' school holidays will be over. Can't believe how long one week can feel if you have NO time for yourself. ;)

While I'm still writing my Merlin novel 'Revelations' I got a few new ideas for my next stories. BUT the prob is, that some readers asked me when I will finish my Star Trek story 'Shadows of the Past'. My dear steffistd also asked me when I will write on my Star Wars 'Rise of the Empire' virtual series and my Obidala novel again. *sighs* I really want to finish these stories. I'm not one of the persons who starts a fanfic and doesn't finish it. But currently my only muse is Merlin. I guess I need my usual overdose before I can switch back to another fandom I admire. It will happen. I have no doubt about it. It always does.^^

Speaking of Merlin. My download is finished. Yeah!!!!!!! \o/ Gotta go and watch the new ep.

Today I felt creative again. Thought it would be nice to create a new Obidala manip. The last time I put so much effort in one of my arts was months ago. It's like I have lost my photoshop skills. :/ Anyway, hope you like it.

This manip was inspired by my own fanfic. Obi-Wan wants to talk to Padmé about her feelings for him. She said the three little words and can't take them back. Some lyrics from Dido's White Flag fit perfectly to that scene I think.

I know you think that I shouldn't still love you,

But if I didn't say it, well I'd still have felt it
where's the sense in that?

Seit einigen Tagen/Wochen (oder Jenny?) arbeite ich an einer neuen Star Wars Fanfic und komme unheimlich gut voran. Irgendwie überrascht mich das, weil ich seit letztem Spätsommer praktisch keine Muse mehr hatte. Da waren zwar paar kleinere Ideen, aber nichts das sich wirklich gelohnt hätte umzusetzen. Also hab ich auch nicht wirklich viel geschrieben.

Obwohl es mir gefehlt hat.

Und dann neulich, mal wieder beim Star Wars schauen, kam mir eine Idee und aus dieser einen wurden dann noch mehr. Und so schreibe ich inzwischen seit einigen (ich glaube, es sind 3 oder 4) Wochen an einer neuen Obidala Story.

Und weil ich gerade so schön auf dieser SW Welle surfe, lese ich nebenbei die Padawan Reihe zuende und zwischendurch ne Fanfic (natürlich Obidala^^) und mal wieder New Force. Wahrscheinlich hängt mir das bald wieder alles zum Hals raus, aber zurzeit kann ich nicht genug davon bekommen.

Und das bringt mich gleich zum nächsten Punkt. Ich hatte schon wieder eine neue Idee! Diesmal würde ich allerdings eine Art virtuelle Serie daraus machen. Mal schauen, wie sich der Plot entwickelt. Zurzeit sammle ich Ideen und entwerfe Charaktere.

Ich weiß, ich sollte Eylsion weiterschreiben, anstatt noch was Neues anzufangen, aber irgendwie hat mich dahingehend die Muse auf halber Strecke zur zweiten Folge verlassen. Ich weiß im Grunde ja wie es weitergehen soll und alles, aber die Details dazwischen fehlen und ich hab zurzeit keinen Bock alles aufzuschreiben. Das nervt mich total. Aber erzwingen kann man das auch nicht. Dabei frage ich mich, wie professionelle Autoren das machen. Ob die auch solche Schreibblockaden haben?

Und wenn es sich bei Elysion um eine Schreibblockade handelt, warum läuft mein Hirn dann mit Ideen für Star Wars Fanfiction beinahe über? oO

Das ist so eine Sache mit der Muse.

After what seems to be a whole century I finally created a new wallpaper. Thanks to Rosalie who asked me to contribute a art to the upcoming Obidala Online Convention. Telling me she thinks I'm one of the best Obidala artists I simply couldn't resist and opened photoshop after months of avoiding doing arts at all.^^ And I'm quite surprised by myself, because I really am satisfied with the art I came up with. More than that, I actually like it enough to contribute it to the convention and use it for my battle versus Steffi.

Here we go. Feedback is very much appreciated and might inspire me to create more arts.

I snagged obidala related arts from my dearest friends without explicit given permission. If anyone doesn't want me to archive their arts just let me know. I'll burst out into tears and jump out of the still closed window, but I really would understand it.^^

I cannot believe it! It's finally done! I just wrote the last sentence of my beloved Obidala story! Now that it's done (after nearly 5 YEARS!) I finished it with a laughing and with a crying eye.

But the good thing is, that I already got a new idea! *hehe*
