After working with a few grid systems created by others (and going nuts) I needed to code my own. As simple and as easy to use as possible. Thanks to my hubby I've finally managed to code my own grid css for a responsive layout. I'm already using it here at Artphilia and at Dahkur (a artfolio I've created for my talented friend Gabi Stiene), so you can see it's working. ;)

But it wouldn't be fair to code a new - easy to use - grid layout and not share it with my beloved visitors, would it? That's why there is a brand new section for you, I named CSS-Snippets. Hope you'll find it useful. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello my dear friends!

It was raining a lot lately so I wasn't out that much. Not a bad thing though, because I had a lot of time for revamping artphilia.de and obidala.net. <3

The new skin I made for obidala.net is not up for download. At least not yet. It's called 'Times New Romance'. ;) I thought it would be time for a more romantic skin with soft colours, but I really liked the header graphic and kept it. It's the only header graphic I've ever kept.^^

And this is how my artfolio looks right now. Featuring Uhura/Kirk. <3 Always loved this shooting.^^ I think it's the sixth layout I've done for artphilia.de.

Other than that I've been writing a lot. Star Trek fanfics mostly. I guess it was a good thing re-watching DS9. :D Currently I'm re-watching VOY (up to season 2 so far) but I gotta tell you, that there are loads of episodes I really dislike. AND I hate Neelix. He is such an annoying character. :/ But I can't wait to re-watch all the Tom/B'Elanna episodes. <3

And last but not least I've created another new efiction skin I want to share. Hope you like it.

Guys I love the sun! Ever since I woke up this morning the sun is shining and I love it! I know that our nature - at least in Germany - needs still more water but I can help it. I'm addicted to the sun. :D

Yesterday I created a new layout for my artfolio and finally managed to bring my showcase back online. I know it's been ages and I'm pretty sure that my World of Warcraft obsession was one of the reasons I haven't created anything in months! And because of that fact and because I think WoW sucks (it's not the same game anymore I fell in love with) I quit my account. Now I have more time for other things. More important things. And I really wanna go to a gym. Don't like my body. :/ And my condition is non-existent. I'm not in good shape and I wanna change it. :)

Wanted a new layout for my journal but ... as usual couldn't find anything I really liked. For now I'll stick with the current layout I snagged from biconic. It's okay, but not what I was looking for. Sometimes it can be a curse to be as picky as I am. :( I guess I'll create a layout myself. Well, if I ever find my muse again. *sigh*

For now I'm a bit frustrated. Will write the next 'Revelations' chapi.^^ This will cheer me up a bit. :)

I know I'm nuts because I created a new layout - what was it? - like two weeks ago. Can't stick with one fandom ... that is why I chose to pick a non fandom based layout again. The original was coded by leavesofyanara but I made some changes to adjust it to my personal liking.^^

I'm working on a new look. Please don't panic if my journal looks crappy within the next hours. For some reason I lost my custom layer for good. Now I have to recreate it and I am just clueless on how to do that. *haha*

Was looking for a new layout (not made by myself, because my creativity is still on hiatus) and thought at first I'd snagg the most recent layout from dawnicons, but after I realized I'd have to change my links (which ones I need as they are) to navigation I couldn't use it. :( I checked out a few comms, but couldn't find anything that's fitting to what I have in mind. For the moment I'll stick with the current layout from minty_peach, but it is also not 100% what I was looking for. Well, I think I'll have to create my own layout again. *sigh*

Sort of finished the revamp of The Butterfly yesterday and got inspired for a brand new layout for Artphilia too! Would love to know what you think. :D

And I was working on a new layout for The Butterfly. But it's not done yet. There will be some major changes and this time it took my VERY LOOOOOOOOOOONG to find colors I really enjoy. Stay tuned. :)

I was working on a new layout all morning. My head is spinning right now, but I'm quite satisfied! Not sure what happened to my theme though, because the tiny icon for the tags is not showing, but I'll fix it later today. Plus the layout looks a bit different on IE as on Firefox. Everyone who's using a Firefox knows how my layout is supposed to look like.^^ Everyone else... well, at least the layout doesn't suck at all, but it's not perfect. Guess IE isn't able to show the floats correctly. *sigh*

It took me about 8 hours to create this layout and now I'm happy with the new look.^^ Currently I'm back to the Trek mood. Trek mood theme, Trek default icon (love Trip!^^) and Trek tiny icons. Unfortunately stupid me forgot to bookmark where I got the Tiny icons from. *snief* If anyone know who created these cute little Trek icons, please let me know so I can give credits. =)

I was looking for a new layout for my journal but it seems that I cannot find anything that satisfies me 100%. The current layout is nice, really, but I only like it 80% out of 100%. *sigh* So please don't expect this one to last very long.

I got this layout from fruitstyle and modified it just a little bit. Just in case anybody wants to know where to find the css. ;)

I really, really liked the layout before. And I was searching for a new layout for weeks and couldn't find something that I really liked. That is why I created my own layout again.^^
Apple green is just a awesome spring colour and I need spring very badly right now. There are some things I still have to adjust (the tag cloud for example) but currently I have no clue what I did wrong. But I hope you like the new layout. I might share it. We'll see.^^

I had a crazy idea while I was working behind the walls on a lj layer. There is not one single theme that I like 100%, for a bunch of reasons. How is it with you? Do you like a theme really 100% and don't miss a tiny little thing or would love to have the chance the change something without being forced to have a paid account?

My crazy idea was to create a complete new theme on my own. Not based on everything we know so far. No Flexible Squares (which is quite popular), no Smooth Sailing, The Boxer, Opal or what so ever. I would start programming from scratch.

I have no idea if I am capable of doing this or not but I wanna try at least.
If you have any ideas, this is the entry where you can tell me what you like and dislike so far on the current themes. What's ok, what do you miss?

Let me know and I'll consider to adjust 'my theme' to your liking.^^

Remember, I have never done this before, but I am willing to try. This is no promise!

Heya dears! Just wanna let you know that I have created a shiny new layout for my hosting website fan-arts.net. I really like the simple collage of Claire Forlani I used for my recent icons and made a header out of it.^^

I know the Jensen layout was AWESOME! But I need a Christmas look now. Will prolly go back to the dark Jensen layout when Christmas is over.^^

Alright. After some of you almost begged me to create more dark layouts and because nearly everyone adores my new header *gg*, I created two new overrides for two different themes. One is for my fellow McShep addicts (*hugs* shendara) and the other one is for my fellow John/Aeryn shippers.^^ Hope you like the new layouts. :D
