I’ve read quite a lot stories within my leave time. So here are a few more recommendations for you.

First of all there is PTSD by uena. It is the best post Into Darkness story out there imho. Tons of Bones, loads of hurt/comfort, fluff and family. I want to move to Georgia everytime I read her story. Just because I love Bones’ family, because Spock and Uhura and also Christine are such great friends and well written. And than of course because of all the great Jim/Bones moments.

Than there is The Holiday by weepingnaiad and abigail89
It’s one of the few modern-AU fics I really liked. Maybe because I love the movie it’s based on and because I love how well Jim, Bones, Spock and Uhura and some others fit in. I still can’t believe that I read a christmas story in midsummer.^^ Guess that’s another sign that I really enjoyed it.
Fav line: “How do you like it, Jim? If I was nothing but your pleasure slave for the night, what would you want?” ♥ ♥ ♥

I was reading this story all day long. I'm a slow reader and the story is quite long. But I can tell you that I simply couldn't drop it for more than a few minutes (bathroom, food). I never thought I'd find a story that could top one of my already existing top5 Jim/Bones stories, but this one did. And not only it found its way into my top5 but it went just atop of the whole list. It's the perfect story imho. Jim issues, Jim angst, loads of hurt/comfort (which is my fav^^) and a perfect ending. Ever since I read Harry Potter I never was that sad that I've finished reading a story.

One Little White Lie by laughter_now
One little white lie never hurt anybody, that's what they say. But apparently they are wrong, because even one small lie can spin out of control and change a life forever. Jim only wanted to be by his best friend's side after an accident. Nobody could have known that the lie he told to make that possible was going to come back to haunt him.

While I was listening to the podfic "A truth that's told with bad intent" by nikki4noo, read by revolutionaryjo again and again, I got inspired to create that little art. Just love this story so much. It's on my top 5 Jim/Bones fanfics. If you don't know the story already you really should read it ore download the podfic.^^

All right. This time I have a few - it's really not that much - very good Merlin fanfics to rec. Most of them are written in German. At least they don't write as much modern settings (which I hate) or real person (which I hate even more!). So, sorry for everyone who doesn't unterstand the bigger part of this rec list.

Arthur kommt jedoch nicht wirklich dazu, etwas Entsprechendes zu unternehmen, denn ALLE MISCHEN SICH EIN, und dann versucht Merlin ihm plötzlich weiszumachen, dass er zaubern kann, Lancelot ist überhaupt keine Hilfe, und Gwaine gibt die ganze Zeit mit seinen Haaren an ... Aber Arthur ist ein verdammter Prinz und steht die ganze Sache mit bezeichnender Anmut durch. Zum Schluss bekommt er sogar eine Belohnung.

Downloaded a couple more podfics the other day to listen to while I'm working. And today I was listening to that awesome story I want to rec, because I love it so much! It's the first part of a series but it's the only part available as podfic - which is sad. BUT nevertheless it's lovely and comes along with loads of great Jim/Bones moments and a adorable Joanna. ♥

Yesterday I read a beautiful litte Jim/Bones story from Joanna's point of view! The story made me cry at the end, so be warned. Character death(s) included. But it's really worth reading nevertheless.

Ich habe ja bereits vor ca. zwei Wochen oder so eine Story von uena empfohlen, die vordergründig slapstick ist, letztlich aber genug Jim/Bones enthält, um als Slash Story durchzugehen. Inzwischen sind zwei weitere Stories von der Autorin auf AO3 erschienen, die ich euch ebenfalls empfehlen will. Der einzigartige Humor und die unvergleichliche Darstellung des wohl knuffigsten, übellaunigen Arztes der Star Trek Geschichte, überzeugen einfach. Ich hatte durch ihre Fanfics einen super Nachmittag, auch wenn das Wetter draußen eher Mist war.^^

Ich war heute früh in der Stimmung für eine Joanna McCoy Fanfic. Nichts Spezielles, einfach nur mal wieder was, das McCoys Tochter beinhaltet und bin dabei zufällig auf AO3 über eine der lustigsten Stories gestolpert, die ich bis dato gelesen habe. Einfach sagenhaft lustig. Ich hatte Tränen in den Augen und zeitweise echt Probleme meine Fassung zurückzuerlangen. Mein Mann hat mich dauernd angesehen, als müsse er mich jeden Moment einweisen lassen. :D
Der Slash Anteil ist total harmlos. Also auch Homephobes sollten sich den Spaß der Story gönnen.^^

Das Universum von A bis Z von uena
Summary: Das Universum ist groß - ein Handbuch wäre praktisch.

A friend of mine sent me a link to another Jim/Bones story with some hints of Pike/Archer, Sulu/Chekov and of course Spock/Uhura. And I was like; sure, I'll read it as soon as I can spare some time. This morning I thought I could read the story, just before I've got to head for work. Silly me thought it's a short story. It's not a novel, but not that short. And I simply got crazy because I couldn't finish the story up until this afternoon! Will never start a new story before work, I swear!

Anyways, the story is mind-blowing. The cutest Jim/Bones story I've read so far. Some hurt/comfort, unrequited love, some fights and loads of sweet Joanna. Also loved the Sam and Family parts so much! Simply amazing fanfic!

Summary: Bones has loved Jim Kirk almost from the start. That doesn't mean he'll admit it to anyone other than himself.

Another wonderful fanfic I want to recommend. It's a prequel to STXI, to fill in some plotholes the movie had. Like the question WHY somebody like Pike got to look after a few wanna-be cadets. Why the Enterprise was build on Earth instead of Spacedock and how exactly Jim and Bones ended up in that shuttle. ;)

Just found a amazing story today written by the talented mijan. Jim/Bones, lots of H/C, Angst, Tarsus VI and even some nice Pike moments. Love it.

All right. I read 'The crown of the summer court' by astolat and some other recommended fanfics from various authors BUT - yes, there is a but - none of these fanfics satisfied me. I'm picky and I want Arthur/Merlin angst, hurt/comfort, torture, slash. I don't want fluffy happy sappy crap, nor do I wanna read about A/M in any other timeline or for God sakes NO Bradley/Colin fanfics (hate real person fics). Please, can you pinpoint me to novels (real good angst needs time) or at least some really good long stories?

All right, I think it's not a bad think to post fanfic recommendations. I'm really picky. So, if your story will be listed on my journal someday you can be really proud. I will only pick stories I really love 100%. It has to be a perfect story.

I'll start with Star Trek XI.

Any Road Will Take You There by shoreleave
This is simply a perfect 'what happened at the academy' fanfic. Loads of angst, hurt/comfort, tons of friendship and even hints of slash inside. The author is amazing at portraiing McCoy and Kirk. It's a story about their growing friendship from the day they met.

He was glad Bones was dating again. He was. Really. But what Jim thought was good for Bones turned out to be oh, so wrong for Jim. Hurt/Comfort, friendship and slash inside. Simply love! ♥

Weil Star Trek einfach unsterblich ist und ich total happy auf der neu entstandenen Fandomwelle surfe, hab ich TrekNation mit dem einen oder anderen Addon verbessert. Zum einen kann man fortan die Liste der Betaleser einsehen, wenn man im Hauptmenü auf 'Autoren' geht und dort das Pulldown-Menü aktiviert. :D Und zum anderen können von jetzt an auf TrekNation Fanfics von außerhalb (natürlich nur Star Trek^^) recommendiert/empfohlen werden. :D Ich hab mal ein erstes Beispiel bei den 'Recs' eingetragen. Eine Story zum neuen Film, die mir super gefällt. Vielleicht habt ihr ja auch schon was gelesen, das euch umgehauen hat. Ich warte auf eure Empfehlungen. :D
