- Crop your image and sharpen your base. Filter » sharpen » sharpen
- Dublicate your base and desaturate (-20 to -50) it. Set this layer to screen (80%).
- Dublicate your base again and desaturate (-100) it. Set this layer to soft light (90%).
- Copy and paste this to your icon. Set this layer to screen (100%) and use filter » blur » blur more.
- Now use the erase tool (60px, opacity 100%, flow 100%) and erase the yellow light burst - or whatever it is - from her face.
- Copy and paste this to your icon. Set this layer to screen (100%).
- Copy and paste this to your icon. Set this layer to overlay (100%).
- Add your text, brush etc.
- Done!
