Tutorial #06  
I just thought I could write some more icon tutorials.^^ Was playing around with ps a lot lately and you might find it useful. :) If not, ignore my post. *gg*





  1. Crop your image. Sharpen your base with filter -> sharpen - sharpen.

  2. Double the layer two times, set the first to screen 100% and the second to soft light 100%.

  3. New layer on top, filled with #FFEEEA, set to multiply 40%.

  4. New layer on top, filled with #FFFCEA, set to soft light 60%.

  5. New layer on top, filled with #C4D0DE, set to color burn 100%.

  6. Merge all layers. Double it onces and set the layer on top to soft light 100%.

  7. New layer on top, filled with #EBFFFB, set to color burn 100%.

  8. Another new adjustment layer on top, hue/saturation. Set saturation to +15 to +20 (depends on what you prefer)

  9. If needed use the blur tool to soften backgrounds etc. a bit.

  10. Done!
