The first icon tutorial was online at the-butterfly.de for quite a time now, but I forgot to post it here. Shame on me. :-/ The second one is brand new. Hope you find it useful. :)



- Crop your image. Sharpen your base with filter -> sharpen - sharpen. Now blur the face a bit with the blur tool (size 5 / strength 15%).
- Double the layer twice, set to screen 100%. It has to be very light.
- New layer on top, filled with #FFF8D6, set to soft light 20%.
- New layer on top, filled with #DDDDDD, set to colour burn 100%.
- Create a new adjustment layer on top, colour balance -45 0 +85
- Create a new adjustment layer on top, colour balance -60 +20 +35
- Another new adjustment layer on top, hue/saturation. Set saturation to +25 to +35 (depends on what you like more)
- Done!

- Crop your image. Sharpen your base with filter -> sharpen - sharpen.
- Double the layer three time, set the first to screen 100%, set the second to soft light 100% and the third to screen 70%.
- New layer on top, filled with #FFF8D6, set to soft light 80%.
- New layer on top, filled with #FFE9D6, set to multiply 100%.
- New layer on top, filled with #DDDDDD, set to soft light 100%.
- Create a new adjustment layer on top, colour balance -20 0 +35
- Another new adjustment layer on top, hue/saturation. Set saturation to +25 to +35 (depends on what you prefer)
- Done!
