Merlin fanfic recs?

All right. I read 'The crown of the summer court' by astolat and some other recommended fanfics from various authors BUT - yes, there is a but - none of these fanfics satisfied me. I'm picky and I want Arthur/Merlin angst, hurt/comfort, torture, slash. I don't want fluffy happy sappy crap, nor do I wanna read about A/M in any other timeline or for God sakes NO Bradley/Colin fanfics (hate real person fics). Please, can you pinpoint me to novels (real good angst needs time) or at least some really good long stories?

Sometimes I have the feeling that I'm all alone with my opinion regarding 'real good' fanfiction. I don't know. There are so many recs out there but these are imho no really special fanfics. *sigh* I hate it to be like that. I mean, it's fandom stuff. But I guess I'm a little spoiled from old fandoms I used to love like The X-Files. There were so many amazing fanfics. Novels and some short stories which made me cry, or squee or think of it for hours. None of the Merlin fics I've read so far really touched my heart.

I know exactly how you feel. I haven't read a really great fanfiction in ages. Something that touched me and sent me soaring. That's why, when I rec things, I have a system. :D
