Tutorial #02

  1. Crop your image. Sharpen your base with filter -> sharpen - sharpen. Now blur the face a bit with the blur tool (size 5 / strength 15%).

  2. Copy and paste your layer twice. Set both new layers to screen 100%. (It might be too light if your image is already light. In that case only create one new screen layer.)

  3. Create a new layer and fill it with a light yellow. I used #FDFFD4. Set it to multiply 100%.

  4. Create a new layer and fill it with a light red. I used #FFDBD4. Set it to soft light 50%.

  5. Create a new layer and fill it with a light cyan. I used #BEFBFF. Set it to colour burn 100%.

  6. Merge all layers (shift+strg+e), copy and paste. Set to soft light 100%. Increase saturation to a maximum of 40. Whatever looks best for you.

  7. Create again a new layer and fill it with a light blue. I used DFF3FF. Set it to colour burn 80%.

  8. Now go to layer -> new adjustment layer -> curves (standard) and play a bit around with rgb and the 3 colours until you are satisfied. Sadly I forgot the precise adjustments.

  9. Last but not least you can add some text or brushes or whatever comes to your mind.

I hope this was a bit useful.
